"Fox Hill Lane" wins South African Music Award for "Best Instrumental Record of the Year"

At the 16th MTN South African Music Awards held in Sun City on the 16th April 2010, Guy Buttery's latest album "Fox Hill Lane" won "Best Instrumental Record of the Year". Being Guy's fourth nomination at the SAMA's, the most prestigious event on the SA music calendar, it is great to see the recognition "Fox Hill Lane" deserves on a large, national scale. Guy would like to thank Howard Butcher who engineered and co-produced the album as well as all the musicians who gave their time and contribution to making "Fox Hill Lane" what it is.

Guy Buttery's "Fox Hill Lane" has just been nominated for a South African Music Award within the Best Instrumental category. He shares this esteemed credit with fellow label mate and guitarist Steve Newman along with Howard Butcher who has been nominated in the Best Engineer category, all through Peace of Eden Recording Studios. The annual South African Music Awards [SAMA's] will be held at Sun City in Gauteng and will be broadcast live on SABC1 on Saturday, 17th April at 8pm.
